The D-74 is a Soviet designed towed 122mm split trail field gun. It was designed as a replacement for the World War 2 era A-19, but the M-46 won the competition. The D-74 was saw limited use in the Soviet Union. It was however widely exported and has been produced in large quantities in China and North Korea and still is a common weapon in Asia and the Middle East.
