G3

The G3 is a battle rifle developed in the 1950’s by Heckler & Koch of Germany. The G3 was the standard issue rifle of the German army for several decades. The G3 is known for its accuracy and reliability, while being a heavy and expensive weapon as well. It was a highly successful weapon being exported to dozens of nations and produced under license in many countries. Nowadays the G3 is more and more replaced by lighter and more modern assault rifles.
